Dan Herbatschek is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ramsey Theory Group, a technology holding and innovation firm based in New York. An applied mathematician, technologist and writer, he studied intellectual history, philosophy and mathematics at Columbia University, where his research examined mathematics, artificial languages and changing conceptions of time during the Scientific Revolution. His nontraditional educational path and effort to reconcile intellectual life with professional work led him to establish the Dan Herbatschek Fellowship at Ramsey Theory Group.
